Tips for Making the Best Pineapple Mojito

  • Make sure you add the mint leaves to the bottom of your cocktail shaker; otherwise, you’ll beat up the mint.
  • Don’t muddle the lime too much, or your cocktail will get bitter.
  • Removing the pith from the lime will also prevent your cocktail from tasting bitter.

  • 5 mint leaves (some more for garnish)
  • 1/2 lime in wedges
  • 2 ounces (60 milliliters) white rum

How to Make a Pineapple Mojito

This pineapple drink is one of our best mojito recipes, and here’s how to make it.

Grab a cocktail shaker and add the mint first. Next, place the lime wedges on top of the mint and cover with the sugar. Gently muddle the ingredients until the limes have given up all of their juice.

Make sure not to muddle your limes too much, because it’ll make your drink go bitter.

Now add the pineapple pieces and muddle again until the pineapple pieces have broken up quite well and given up their juice.

Here comes the rum! Add the rum to the cocktail shaker and put the lid on. Tap it on the top with the heel of your hand to make sure it’s firmly in place.

Shake it for about 10 seconds, and everything will be nicely mixed. Fill a glass with ice and pour the cocktail into it. Top it off with club soda.

You can garnish your drink with a pineapple piece and a mint leaf to make it look fabulous!
